I work with this boss that is such a bitch! If you don’t kiss her ass or cater to her she treats you like crap. Lets also add she has these cronies who follow her around just so they can get what ever they want. I was made assistant manager and a month later, I quit. Why? According to her, she stated that my co-workers said I would go in the office when they were busy. Supposedly I was also waving money bags around, while on my way to get change or make a deposit. Oh please!!! I do more work in that shop than everyone else, the register doesn’t lie! It keeps track of everyone’s’ transactions. Apparently one of the bosses cronies wanted my job. She is going to think about taking over as asst. manager. Why doesn’t she just say she’s going to do it? I’ve worked in that shop for four years…I’m tired of being so damn dependable and get treated like s***, yet the others who take days off, come in late, and get mouthy with the boss are treated fair! What kind of crap is that??? Gosh! It aggravates me to no end! One day they’ll ALL get their payback. What comes around goes around…and theirs is going to be a big one!

We don’t really want to hear about how your latest conquest over the weekend thought you were a slut. Everyone else already knows you are. While you’re at it, if you want to get a job more suited to your talents, the stripper bars up the stairs are hiring. Til then, would it be too much to ask if you would shut the hell up and just work? Your office manners are more suited to happy hour than the workplace.

Have you ever felt that all the skills and intelligence you had were not only being wasted, but being wasted intentionally in order to publicly and privately humiliate your personality and destroy your soul no? well then listen to this story boys and girls and empathize with me a lil’ while I spin my tale.

I am an intern at a company in Silicon Valley. But they are not a tech company, what they actually do is put on conferences for tech CEO’s. Seems legit enough right? Wrong! When I was hired I was told that they were hiring me and the other interns because we were the best of the best (all currently in two of the top colleges in the area). We’re all pretty smart guys, capable, we can think on our feet. And what do they have us doing for the most part: fucking data entry. Basically what we do is look companies up online and put their info into the database. As one of my co-sufferers said “basically the internet is our database.” It would be marginally better if the information we entered was useful in some way. But no, for the most part any work we do after it is thrown in into a black hole sun of this-shit-will-never-be-used-again. I mean this stuff might be used but god knows we’ll never hear about it. It would be okay if the database were useful, but its not. It’s a total fucking mess. No one actually maintains anything. Anyone can add anything. Very rarely does anyone double check that the data is correct. Nothing is in the right format. Lets just put it this way, this is what one entry had listed as the address: Canada! Yea that’s right all it said was fucking Canada. I wanna send those guys a letter and see where it ends up

My boss works maybe 25 hours a week. We work in a department of 3 people. The boss, myself, and one other person, so if one of us is gone, it can be a big burden on the other two to cover the workload.Nonetheless, my boss has no problem working 25 hours a week or less.She takes an hour and a half to two hour lunches to go work out at the gym almost every day. She comes in about a half hour late most days, and leaves a half hour early most days to avoid traffic. She takes off at 11 a.m. or noon many Mondays and often leaves 2 or 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.The worst part is she lies on her timesheet and reports that she’s here all of this time that she’s skipping out. As a result, she has 15 vacation days to use, while I, as a result of being honest on my timesheet and actually reporting the hours when I am not here, have only 3. I’m sick of doing her work and covering for her lazy ass. I’m also sick of hearing her complain about how she is overburdened and not paid enough. She’s a warped, twisted, dishonest woman and I’m so sick of having to work harder as a result of her laziness.
