Stupid CoWorkers

This lady is the most unprofessional person that I have ever worked for in my entire life!

This woman is the VP of HR but yet she acts like she should be working for People magazine as a gossip columnist.

This woman will take her entire team to lunch and will reveal very confidential information in a public setting—she will tell about people’s medical information, marriage issues, sexual preferences, etc.

No subject is off limits! She will always start the conversation with..this information is confidential…I am only telling you about this because you are a part of HR. None of the information is relevant to our jobs….I mean seriously…did we need to know that you fired the person because you suspected he had a personality disorder! Did we need to know that a person resigned because they were having marriage issues and their child was a drug addict! Or about how someone’s husband divorced her because he was gay!

Stupid Customers

(While working the overnight shift alone, a single customer walks into the store and walks to my register.)

Customer: “What would you do if I robbed you?”

Me: “…I’d call the cops.”

Customer: “What about if I had a knife to your throat?”

Me: “Do you really think those are good questions to be asking me?”

Customer: “Okay, let’s just say I have a gun in your face.”

Me: “Get out. Now.”

Customer: “Sheesh, I was just trying to have a friendly conversation with you…” *leaves*

(We shot a wedding after dark and in the rain last year. When the happy couple met with me to pick up their photos the conversation went like this…)

Bride: “I am so disappointed that there are no beautiful sunset pictures, like on your website.”

Me: “I’m sorry about that, but if you remember correctly the weather was terrible, and you got married in the dark.”

Bride: “Yeah, but we paid you a lot of money!”

Me: “I would charge a lot more money if I could turn back time and change the weather.”

Bride: “All of the other weddings we saw on your website have beautiful sunsets!”

Me: “We took those photos at sunset, before it got dark, and it wasn’t raining.”

Bride: “I’m sick of your slick excuses. You have an answer for everything!”

(This conversation went on, round and round like this for an hour. The mom called and we had the exact same conversation!)

Stupid Criminals

Announcing the sale of pot out of a dorm room window is probably not a good idea when two police officers are within hearing range.

A pair of former Northeastern University freshmen are facing drug and other charges after prosecutors said one of them leaned out his dorm window on Sunday and loudly told a woman in the dorm opposite his that he and his roommate were selling pot.

Two plain clothes Boston officers in the building overheard the conversation, made their way up to a second floor dorm room where they arrested Michael Emery, 18, of Haverhill and Matthew Ferrante, 18, of North Andover after finding about four ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, including a scale, and several bottles of alcohol in the room, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said.
