My boss (VP of HR) watches people like a hawk to make sure that they are putting in their 8 hours, yet sneaks out the back door to leave early on a regular basis.
She also has NO idea how web pages work. She insists on double clicking hyperlinks. DUH!
She also gets lost driving to work! NO KIDDING. Her husband finally bought her a car with a GPS.

Recently the office manager at my clinic decided we are no longer allowed to have food delivered to the hospital during appointment hours. That wouldn’t be so horrible, if appointments didn’t run for 6 hours straight from 2 pm til 8 pm. Sometimes you just don’t have food to bring to work with you from home. And most of the time we’re too busy to go heat something up. We all think it’s stupid, and that it really isn’t presenting us in a “bad light” to clients, which is the OM’s biggest bitch. I can agree that the receptionist gets tied up for about a whole freaking minute and a half while she pays the delivery boy, but jesus! Any thoughts or stories related to Nazi leadership in your workplace?
