the other day my stupid boss put an envelope in my mailbox at work. it contained pay increases for 2 others in my workplace – one whom i supervise – one whom i supervise but am not responsible for. i never should have seen #2’s salary – i trained him, i cultivated him into what he is today – he came to our staff as a young, “careless” guy…my stupid boss used to rip on him (on me for his actions) he is now working in another dept and – now all of a sudden he walks on water – mr new, careless guy’s (newer than me and all the others)… salary is so close to mine it’s sick…i’ve been with the company for 12+ years – given it my heart and soul…by the looks of it they’re trying to tell me something – obviously they don’t appreciate my committment….shame on them! shame on me for not “getting the message….”
he deserves good pay – but so do i !!!
